The Logitech HD Pro Webcam C920 1080P with widescreen video calling and recording features forms one of the most important accessories in the plethora of accessories required for a laptop or desktop. This accessory enables us to communicate effectively using its cutting edge features. Its H.264 HW encoding enables to get faster, smoother HD experiences. This webcam leaves no stone unturned in enabling an efficient communication interface between two parties on opposite sides of the computer interface.
The Logitech HD Pro Webcam C920 offers efficient full HD 1080P video calling on the Skype platform. Not only that, it also offers full HD video recordings @ 1080P for fast uploads to Face book, Twitter and YouTube platforms. As if this is not enough, it also gives us the added feature of high quality dual mic for stereo audio facility.
In terms of design features, the product measures 2.8 inches x 7.5 inches x 8.9 inches, with the height making it a tall device which weighs 7.7 ounces. With a shipping weight of 12.8 ounces, this device actually packs quite a punch. When compared to two other webcams namely the C615 and the C525, the C920 distinguishes itself in being a superior product. The fact that it is Logitech’s flagship webcam at the moment gives it a lot of flair and importance.
There are three things that this webcam does not have the following features:
The C920 has a threaded tripod mount like the C615 and therefore it cannot turn from side to side and also turn around 360 degrees.
Additionally, the C920 lacks the excellent fold and go design of the other two models, which in turn makes packing and travelling very easy while at the same time protecting the lenses. In stark contrast, the C920 is much larger and stationary.

The C920 like the C525 comes with a full length cable (=6”). If a detachable USB cable is provided, it will give the device much more versatility. Most notably, the C920 is much more advanced in terms of its use of H.264 compression and its autofocus feature.
